Treaties can be agreed to by two countries to prevent the game from processing direct attacks on each others' sectors or units. Each Country may have any number of active treaties. To ask for a treaty simply click on a sector occupied by the country. Then select (?) for info. Then click on the country name and you will see the option to "request treaty" if you do so you will then get the message:" Please select the number of weeks attacks should continue to be blocked upon cancellation of this treaty (if accepted)" then select the number of weeks with the options 1, 2, 3, or 4.
